I think it’s time to officially bid the World War II genre goodbye. Over the past few years World War II games have reduced to a mere trickle failing to make a significant impact on the gaming masses. This year we had quite a few WWII games like Velvet Assassin, Wolfenstein, and Death to Spies all of which sank without a trace. And now you have The Saboteur, the final game by developer Pandemic before they were shut down by EA.
Honestly speaking The Saboteur is not a bad game. Had Pandemic spent more time polishing up the game we could have had a really enjoyable action/stealth game on our hands. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and what we have is a game that brings a lot of ideas to the table but fails to execute them properly.
