Following hot on the heels of AKAI’s triple SIM phone is Zen Mobile’s own contribution to the tri-SIM scene, the M111. The phone functions on triple standby, which is GSM + GSM + GSM and has some other quite mundane features.
The M111 has a 2.4-inch screen, a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, a music player with 6-band equalizer, an E-book reader and memory that is expandable to 8GB. In the connectivity arena, the Zen phone has GPRS and WAP support, along with Bluetooth and it can connect to the PC via the USB port for data transferring.
Speaking on the launch, Deepesh Gupta, MD, Zen Mobile said, “Zen Mobile has always strived to offer products that create more value for its customers. With the launch of India’s first triple GSM Sim mobile phone, we have taken a step further in offering convenience and the utility at an unrivalled price, to our customers.”
The phone has very similar specs to the AKAI phone, which makes us suspect they’re both just different brandings of the same OEM handset. We can’t tell for sure though, because not much is known about the other specs. Anyway, the Zen M111 is available in Red and White and will cost Rs. 3,499.
