Leaked Xiaomi Mi 5c teaser reveals the smartphone to be priced at 999 Yuan

There is another Xiaomi Mi 5c related leak, which is a poster for the phone prepared for the launch. The poster contains a clear image of the phone, as well as a price tag that reads 999 Yuan, which is roughly Rs 9,931. The C series is usually the cheaper versions of the phone in the Mi lineup. The Xiaomi Mi 5 was launched in India earlier in March(here’s the  review ). In September, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 5s and the Mi 5s Plus . The Xiaomi Mi 5c seems to be next in the line.

The teaser poster for the Xiaomi Mi 5c has leaked on the Chinese website Toutiao, according to a report in XiaomiToday. Considering the design of the phone and the specifications, the pricing seems to be on the lower side.

The image on the leaked poster looks similar to the Xiaomi device that  had leaked last month . The leaked images indicate that the device is powered by a 8-core Helio P20 processor, supported by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory. The processor is clocked at 2.2GHz and the phone is expected to run Android 6.0 with MIUI8 on top. However, Toutiao reports that the device will have an eight-core A53 processor clocked at 1.4GHz.

Xiaomi is poised to go international, and has booked a booth at the upcoming CES 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a promise of showcasing an “ innovative product ”.
