Xiaomi is all set to launch Xiaomi Redmi 4 in India today in an event in New Delhi. The company has not issued any official statement about the price of Xiaomi Redmi 4, but we can expect the smartphone to fill the gap between Redmi 4A and Redmi Note 4.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to sport a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display (1280x720) on the front along with a front-facing 5 MP selfie camera that sits at the top, alongside the receiver.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (MSM 8940) octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz and paired with 3 GB RAM. It will come with 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card placed in the included hybrid SIM tray. Xiaomi has packed Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with dual-band support, Bluetooth v4.1 with low energy profile and A2DP, an infrared port at the top side and a microUSB 2.0 port at the bottom end.
At the back sits a 13 MP camera with PDAF accompanied by a single LED flash. Also at the back is a fingerprint reader. All of the above is powered by a 4,100 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging.
