WWDC 2014 sneak peek: Apple preps to unveil OS X, iOS 8 and lots more

As WWDC is just around the corner, the Moscone West Centre is already taking shape and giving us a hint or two of what we can expect this Monday.

OS X 10.10 and iOS 8 are definitely coming, as big banners put up at the venue suggest.  We also expect significant changes to the iCloud. Apple could bring song ID feature to iTunes in collaboration with Shazam. New products such as Apple TV or iWatch is less likely to be introduced. There are rumours that suggest iOS 8 might come sans the notification center, and with tweaked Messages and Game Center apps

The Verge got to take a look inside the venue to show us these large banners being put up. The OS X background hints at the Yosemite name, as Apple has already decided to go with popular natural spots around California for its PC OS.

iOS 8

Last year, Apple launched the iOS 7 which had a similar font type on its promotional material and this year is no different and these billboards definitely confirm the coming of iOS 8.

Wondering what more Apple is going to announce at the event? Check out our round-up and do join us for live coverage of the WWDC keynote on Monday evening.
