Mango updates leaked
Speaking through a podcast, they revealed that Bing Audio will allow users to search for music using their phones by holding up the handsets to a song and it will be able to identify it. This makes the updated Bing similar to the mobile app Shazam. They further went on to describe the updated Bing saying that by using a camera it would enable users to search services using a camera. The Bing Vision would help users to scan barcodes, Microsoft Tags, QR Codes, Books, CD’s, DVD’s and text using OCR.
The SMS Dictation feature in Messages would enable users to dictate their SMSs by using the ‘Speak’ feature under the microphone icon in the application bar at the bottom of the screen. Voice guidance can be used to give driving directions in the new turn-by-turn navigation feature.
