UPDATE: It's here. Gagaville, the project from Lady Gaga and Farmville maker, Zynga is here. This is what they're using to launch Gaga's new album, "Born This Way". From the 17th till the 19th of May, players can unlock and stream a new un-released track per day (so go get it!). From the 20th till the 23rd of May, players can unlock and stream a significant portion of songs from the new album, plus bonus remixes. To access this, users need to go to Gagaville in Zynga's Farmville. As mentioned previously, Gagaville is very different from Farmville. For starters, no flannel or rustic-ness. You're in a crystal world with unicorns. Go figure.
Get yourself a gaga-ed unicorn
Lady Gaga is slowly taking over the world. Her next move is partnering up with Zynga, makers of Facebook game FarmVille, to make an offshoot of Farmville called GagaVille. GagaVille comes designed next to FarmVille and contains unicorns and crystals. Zynga says they're launching GagaVille on May 17.
Gaga's getting a world of her own
What's the incentive to join GagaVille? GagaVille users will get first listening rights to unreleased singles from Lady Gaga's new album "Born This Way", which will be available from the 23rd of May onwards.
This is not the only partnership Lady Gaga has with Zynga. There is also a Words With Gaga contest in Zynga's mobile game, Words With Friends. You play the designated Gaga word of the day and you stand to win Lady Gaga contest tickets and signed copies of Born This Way.
But a GagaVille with crystals and unicorns? I don't play FarmVille anymore, but this I've got to see!
