In today’s day and age, Downloadable Content is pretty much a given for nearly every game out there. In most cases DLC isn’t free but there are certain developers out there who aren’t complete money grabbing goblins. Now I’m not sure Ubisoft is one of them but they’ve been kind enough to offer some sweet multiplayer content for their RTS title R.U.S.E. completely F.R.E.E. (see what I did there?). This will include three new multiplayer maps and two new multiplayer modes.
The maps are called Twilight of the Gods (2 vs. 2), Vesuvio (2 vs. 2) and Guns and Tulips (3 vs. 3) and the modes are as follows:
Nuclear War: all prototype factories and upgrades will be unlocked from the beginning. Use them smartly and embark in spectacular battles with your enemies.
Total War: you’ll start in year 1939 with all the units and the specificities of that time. You will then unlock 1942 units and 1945 units step by step. Will you be smart enough to master the unique specificities of all these units?
The DLC will be available soon via Steam (for the PC) and Xbox Live (for the Xbox360).
