Reuters[/caption] While the social media website natively allows video uploads with up to 2 minutes and 10 seconds of length, sources close to the company have stated that it is working on a “camera-centered product” for videos. According to
a report by Bloomberg, the upcoming feature is expected to be a ‘Snapchat-style’ to enable users to shoot video directly into the app. The interesting thing to note here is that this new product is likely to be rolled out soon. This would be a welcome addition as Twitter does involve far too many steps for posting photos and video in comparison to the likes of
**Snapchat** , Instagram and even Facebook. As pointed out in the report, this new product by Twitter aims at reducing the number of steps required to post an image or a video. The report also adds that the design or the launch date of the new product has not been finalized yet but that a demo is in the works. Chief Executive Officer of Twitter,
**Jack Dorsey** who has praised Snapchat in the past for its “modernity”, seems to be taking cues from the app to engage Twitter users.
