If you have captured special moments of your loved ones and wish to share them with them as an elegant home movie or beautify your video files quickly and that too with ease, muvee autoProducer 6 can come to your rescue.

Step One

Downloading and installing

muvee autoProducer 6 is a shareware that can be used free of cost for a trial period of 21 days. To download and get started with it, carry out the following steps:

  • Visit http://download.cnet.com/muvee-autoProducer/3000-13631_4-10625351.html.
  • Click the 'Download Now' button.
  • Save the exe file. Double-click on it to start the installation.
  • Click 'Next' to proceed with the installation.
  • Check the 'I accept the terms of the license agreement' option on the next screen and Click 'Next' to proceed.
  • Uncheck all the options appearing on the next screen and Click 'Next' to proceed.
  • Click 'Change…' to change the destination folder on the next screen and Click 'Next' to proceed.
  • Click 'Install' to finally install the application on your PC.
  • Finally select the 'Yes, I want to restart my computer now.' option and click 'Finish'.
  • Wait for your computer to restart to begin using the application.

Step Two

Creating the movie

Next we will create a movie from images saved on the local drive of your PC. To do so, carry out the following steps:

  • Double-click the 'Home movies made easy!' desktop shortcut to start the application.
  • Click the 'Continue Free Trial' link to continue.

note: You can purchase a copy of the application by clicking the 'Buy Now' button. You will be redirected to the home page of the product.

  • Click the 'Add picture' button to locate the images.
  • Browse for the image folder in the 'Add Picture' dialog box.
  • Check the 'Auto-correct red-eye', the 'Auto-enhance' and the 'Auto-remove noise'.
  • Click 'Open' to load the files into the application.
  • Next, click the 'Add music' button to locate the images.
  • Browse for the image folder in the 'Add Music' dialog box.
  • Click 'Open' to load the files into the application.
  • Select the 'Show all styles' option from the drop-down list appearing in the 'Select Style' section of the window.
  • Select a style for your movie from the grid-list that appears below. A preview of the style appears in the player on the left side of the window.
  • To generate the movie, click the 'make muvee' button.
  • Click 'OK' on the dialog box that appears when you generate the movie for the first time.

note: Click the 'make muvee' button every time you change the movie settings.

Step Three

Saving the movie

After you have a previewed the movie you created and are content with the output, you need to proceed to save the file. You can also save multiple movies in one go. To do so, carry out the following steps:

  • After generating the movie, go to the 'File | Save Project' menu command.
  • Click the 'muveeShare' button to convert the project file into a movie file.
  • note: By default the projects and movies are saved a folder named 'My muvees' in the 'My Documents' folder.
  • Click the 'Save to computer' tab on the 'muveeShare' dialog box that appears.
  • Select a movie format from the list appearing under the 'Save to computer' section of the dialog box.
  • Click the 'Save Now' button to save your movie file.
  • Click the 'View muvees' link on the dialog box to view the saved movies.
  • Click the 'Open output folder' link to open the folder containing the saved movies.
