The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Polish developer CD Projekt’s stellar action RPG will be arriving on the Xbox360 by the 17th of April 2012. Till then, the only way you could immerse yourself in this twisted, mature and grim world of professional demon slayers was if you owned a relatively powerful PC. Now, Xbox360 owners can finally experience one of the best RPGs of 2011.
Professional demon hunters coming soon to your Xbox360
According to Videogamer.com, the Xbox360 version will include some newer content such as “never-seen before cinematics including a brand new intro sequence”. In addition to the more cosmetic stuff, Xbox360 owners can look forward to newer locations and quests. This bonus content will eventually make its way to the PC as well in the form of a free update. Similarly, the Xbox360 version will get the Arcade mode as well as the Arena training mode that were included in the last PC update (version 2.0).
We really appreciate the fact that CD Projekt is churning out so much free content when other developers/publishers shamelessly charge us for trivial stuff like skins or new weapons. If you’ve missed out on this game in the past, we most definitely recommend it for the Xbox360. For more on The Witcher 2, we suggest you check out our review.
