The tablet that opens up to convert to a netbook should be out in phases, with the first phase happening next Thursday, according to some sources . While pre-sale order information will be out this week, the announcement on the availability of the Duo should be next week, possibly on 23rd November on the Dell site.
The tablet cum netbook design is not new, it’s been done by Hewlett Packard with the EliteBook 2740p, but they had problems with weight and price (both being on the heavy side). So what’s unique about the Duo? It can unfold into a netbook, and not just any netbook, rather a high-end one based on the Windows 7 and a dual-core Atom processor.
