Swype Slides Across to The Android Platform

Way back in November of 2009, we got wind that the Samsung Omnia II was the very first handset to incorporate a new user friendly way of using a touchscreen device’s onscreen keypad. The function was called Swype. According to a report Swype has actually set a Guinness World Record for speed typing on a mobile device. So far the technology has been limited to just a few devices here and there but will now be available for Android devices.

The App will be available via http://beta.swype.com/
