Tycoon games developer Splash Fox Games has now released a new game called Car Service. The game is a tycoon-based game where managing time is just as important as managing money. The company seems to have made efforts to appeal to children as well as adults with its cartoony art style and seemingly deep management-based gameplay. The game is Rated 4+ on the iTunes App Store.
The main character of the game is Kate, who started her first car service center. As a lone girl, she has to carry out multiple car operations. The service center offers five services such as tire station, car wash, engine repair, electrical station, bodywork and parking. There is a stamina indicator on every car and when the stamina comes to an end, the car driver will leave the car service center and Kate will lose the income.
There are different levels in the game and the number of customers goes up in every level. Gamers need to help Kate function accurately and swiftly in order to accomplish the main objective of the game — helping Kate run the car service center properly and quickly.
Car Service is now available on the iOS App Store
After every level, earnings, profit and bonus is shown and the gamers can purchase or upgrade new machines for quick services and extra parking space to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Cars parked at the parking spaces have their stamina run out at a slower pace. After the competition of desired services, the car should be guided to the cashier.
Splash Fox Games is a Ukraine-based Company lead by Vyacheslav Klymenko. It is fully involved with the game development industry, using only best and most recent tools and development environments.
The game is priced at just $0.99 (approximately Rs 54) and is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Car Service requires iOS 4.0 or later. The latest version of the game is 1.0.2.
Car Service is also available on Android devices through Google Play for Rs 54. There are also free versions available for both iOS and Android devices, though these have limitations.
Other major games that were recently released include Rockstar's 10th anniversary re-release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Rockstar states that the 10th Anniversary Edition brings the full Vice City experience to iOS and Android, and will have native high-resolution graphics, besides several enhancements unique to the platforms. The enhancements include updated character models and lighting effects, new and more precise firing and targeting options, a fully-customisable control layout and native support for devices with Retina displays, among other improvements.
GTA: Vice City tackles the backstory of the universe Rockstar created with GTA III. While GTA III takes place in Liberty City in the early 2000s, Vice City takes place in the titular city—which is modelled on Miami—in the 60s. Vice City’s protagonist is Tommy Vercetti and the game's story is heavily influenced by the movie Scarface. Vice City was the first game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise to feature bikes as usable vehicles. It also introduced alternate costumes for the character as a gameplay mechanic that helps you lose the police.
