The Popkorn’s special feature includes a built-in projector and a built-in Analog TV chip that support free channels. It’s a feature phone where users can watch movies or even cricket matches (provided they’re hosted) on a larger screen. The Popkorn aka M 9000 has the following features:

  • 2.4-inch QVGA display with 640 x 320 pixels resolution
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording
  • Memory expandable up to 16 GB

The M 9000 also has your mundane mobile phone features like a built-in browser and an audio/video player with support for formats like 3GP, MP3, MP4 and others as well.

The handset is priced at Rs. 6,699 which looks pretty neat but it’s too early to say whether the phone does give good value for money. The M 9000 is available in stores near you.
