A demo for developer Yager’s third person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Dubai is out now on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The demo offers players two levels from the single player campaign and is currently exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members. Silver subscribers will gain access to the demo after the 15th of May 2012. And unsurprisingly, there’s no mention of a demo for PC gamers.
Man that was one crazy night
Players that download the demo will be introduced to the brutal action and combat of Spec Ops: The Line. The single-player narrative unfolds within Dubai after a series of cataclysmic sandstorms cut the city off from the rest of the world. Playing as Captain Martin Walker, gamers add to the city’s destruction by engaging in action-packed firefights as they search for Colonel John Konrad and his missing battalion, The Damned 33rd. In search of answers and survivors, players who experience the demo will tear through portions of two early chapters of Spec Ops: The Line.
Spec Ops: The Line releases for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 26th of June 2012.
