Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini Pro just might have a successor. There is no news on what it will be called or what exactly the specs are, but there are some images and rumours doing the rounds.
Sources say the phone probably has a 1 GHz or an 800 MHz processor and might be running on Gingerbread. There is also mention of an Adreno 205 GPU but all that has still not been confirmed. Specs that can be seen from the images are a 3-inch 320x480 pixels multi-touch display and a slide-out QWERTY-keyboard. Also, the pictures show that the handset has a front-facing camera so it will support video chat. The keypad looks similar to that of the Nokia N97 and the keys seem to be well-placed.
There’s a good likelihood that this X10 Mini Pro successor might be one of the XPERIA phones that Sony Ericsson will be launching in February. The XPERIA X10 Mini Pro had a good review so we are looking forward to see what this handset has to offer.
