Sirius Radio Service Launches Portable Device

Satellite radio service, Sirius has introduced its portable satellite radio device, Stiletto 100 to offer live reception to their listeners. The device features is Wi- Fi connectivity, Yahoo! Music purchasing software and allows users to store up to 100 hours of SIRIUS content.

The device automatically records upto 6 hours of commercial-free music from Sirius Satellite Radio channels and allows users to save up to 10 hours of individual songs from live Sirius Satellite Radio broadcasts pressing the 'love' button on the interface. Moreover, users' own MP3/WMA files can also be stored on the Stiletto 100 and managed with the included My Sirius Studio software for Windows PCs. Also, Stiletto 100 is compatible with most Windows-based Internet music providers' download and subscription services.

The 2 GB player has a large 2.2" bright display, Aurora graphic user interface and a six-way navigation control, and is available for a price of $349.99. The package also includes a standard battery, slim battery, AC power adaptor, headset antenna, ear buds, PC cable, My Sirius Studio software and Yahoo! Music Jukebox software. Other features of the Stiletto 100 include 30 channel presets and Sirius Replay which allows users to pause, rewind and replay 60 minutes of live radio. The device will also receive Game Alerts and the Game Zone feature will provide a listing all of the users’ favorite teams in one virtual category, with parental controls and channel lockout.

Also available, are a vehicle kit (MSRP $69.95) home kit (MSRP $69.95), executive system (MSRP $149.95) with additional batteries and headphones and other accessories. The Stiletto 100 also incorporates the Sirius Universal Connector, which can be used with a wide variety of audio systems and accessories being developed by partner manufacturers.
