Just when one began to believe that the size of the LED-LCD HDTVs couldn’t get any larger, Sharp went and did just that. After introducing the 70-inch AQUOS LCD HDTV at the beginning of the year, Sharp have now announced the 80-inch AQUOS LC-80LE632U TV, which is the largest LED LCD television, as of now. Apart from being humongous, this HDTV also features additions such as full HD 1080p smart TV capabilities and built-in Wi-Fi.
Now that's a big TV
Speaking at the announcement of the Sharp AQUOS LC-80LE632U HDTV, John Herrington, President, Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America said that their 80-inch AQUOS TV delivers more than double the screen area of a 55-inch TV, for an amazing viewing experience. It's truly like nothing else in the market. Consumers want bigger flat panel TVs for deeper, more immersive viewing experiences and that's exactly what Sharp's delivering here. Sharp claims that this LED LCD TV offers good picture quality in a sleek design. This television features full array LED backlighting system that helps in ensuring uniformity in colour, as well as brightness across the display while also enabling a dynamic contrast ratio of 6,000,000:1.
