Seagate Ships Out its 1.5 Billionth Drive

Selling 1.5 billion drives is a really big deal and Seagate must be super proud of this accomplishment. In fact, the bigger surprise is that half-billion of these drives were shipped out in just the last two years. Now that really is something, isn’t it? To commemorate this milestone, Seagate is on the hunt for the oldest hard drive in India. So if you think you have it, or know someone that might, here’s the chance to win a brand new 1.5TB FreeAgent GoFlex Ultra Portable drive.

Get lucky with Seagate

In order to win this contest, all you have to do is follow a few simple guidelines. Get on to twitter and follow @Seagate_in , after which you will need to send a photo of the drive along with your estimate of the age of the hard drive. You can use SeaTools to do this, and if your drive emerges as the oldest, you will have a brand new drive to add to your collection. The photos will be uploaded into a gallery and the winner will be announced on 24th January.

So here’s something that you can look forward to. So if you do end up having the oldest Seagate drive in India, it could very well be your lucky day!
