Samsung releases 'Made for India, Made in India' apps for Republic Day

It is 26th January, today; our 63rd Republic Day. The day, for most of us is all about reminiscing our leaders, their contributions to our country and the tech world will do so in its own way. Samsung, for this day has released a slew of key, customizable apps for its users across Bada and Android platforms, which it believes will be a perfect accompaniment for today. Indian Authors

Those with their history lessons in place would know that the Indian freedom struggle was egged on by the groundbreaking works of writers, poets. Using Samsung’s Indian Authors apps, users will be able to know more about several Indian authors and some key, defining works of their lives, among others. 


Indian Khoji

Using this app, users can know the founding fathers of the country better. 


Indians Pride

What is the Republic Day without a proud recital of the national anthem and the national song? Aptly titled, this app will allow users to listen to the national anthem and the national song.


Indian Honour

Proud Indian tales are full of relics of great heroes and other achievers who have put India at the centre of the world stage. The nation, too has honoured them with prestigious awards and titles. The Indian Honour app will give users detailed information about the recipients of prestigious awards like the Param Vir Chakra and Padma Bhushan, among others.
