Tablet frame design, speaker placement and model number are the aspects of its ambitious Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet, which Samsung tweaked to ensure that the tablet does not suffer a sales ban in Germany, confirms a Reuters report. This South Korean technology giant has been embroiled in a legal tangle with Apple, another technology major over infringed patents.

Altered to escape ban

Samsung feared the sales ban on the Galaxy Tab 10.1, which seemed imminent unless Samsung made alterations to it. And, it did alter. Now, German consumers will find Galaxy Tab 10.1 N, which is an altered version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 model.
