Samsung, very recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S II in the markets; many of them are yet to lay their hands on the smartphone. It may now seem to be a good idea to take the plunge as this newbie has already two new updates to itself. Samsung cited few bugs in the Samsung Galaxy S II; even before anybody else could point it out. It got working on it with immediate effect, and as it’s there for all to see, the updates are up and running.
Apparently, there were issues with the automatic brightness feature of the smartphone, which has now been fixed. Also, the Swype feature on the phone has got more responsiveness to itself post the update. In addition to the two fixes, Samsung has also looked through some issues with connectivity, which has been fixed, too. The firmware updates that have reached the Samsung Galaxy S II have now updated the firmware to i9100XWKE2.
In order to be able to download the updates, users will have to hook their phones to Samsung’s Kies App. As of now, the updates are only visible on the Kies App, since the built-in tool is unable to trace the updates.
