Now that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have made their way to the market, its time for the Galaxy Note 8 leaks to pour in. There have been speculations that the Note 8 will have a similar design philosophy as the Galaxy S8 including the Infinity Display but with a dual-camera setup.
A new video showing an alleged dummy unit of the upcoming phablet has surfaced giving an idea of all the design elements. The dummy is basically a 3D printed unit which showed up on Chinese social-media website Weibo. Along with the video, there are a few images as well one of which one is a real-life 'Coral Blue' render of the handset.
The 3D printed dummy unit has been compared with a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and clearly we can see that the Galaxy Note 8 will have larger dimensions. If previous speculations are true, it could carry a 6.3-inch dual-edge curved panel. The bezels on the top and bottom are going to be super slim just like the Galaxy S8 duo. At the back there is a vertical dual-camera setup with an LED flash and heart-rate monitor sitting right below.
The biggest thing though is there is no fingerprint scanner at the back or at the front. This raises a bunch of questions. Will Samsung not employ a fingerprint scanner? Has the company found a way to embed it in the display? All of this will be answered once the smartphone goes official.
