Unless you have been living under a rock and very big one at that, you would know about the Samsung Galaxy S and how impressive is it. But now, it seems that a successor is in the works, and looks very powerful as far as specs go.
According to a tweet by Eldar Murtazin, a well known person in the cellphone space, the Galaxy S2 will be powered by a dual-core processor and will run on the Android OS. Eldar Murtazin compares the Galaxy S2 with the Sony Ericsson Anzu X12 (which is also another unannounced phone) and says that while it's not as slim as the Anzu, it's technically much more advanced”. Whispers also speak of a Gingerbread based touch-wiz which Samsung is currently pushing hard across the entire Galaxy S line to be the OS of choice for the Galaxy S2.
Below is the tweet by Eldar Murtazin
Nothing has been confirmed by Samsung at this time, but if the rumoured specs are anything to go by, then the Galaxy S2 is looking mighty strong. Let's hope the announcement comes soon enough and we get a first look at this mysterious device.
