Even though Prince of Persia came out when Kratos was probably in his diapers there’s no denying the fact that the God of War series has emerged as the undisputed champ of action games. He goes ahead to explain the God of War’s over the top violence may have something to do with that. While true to a certain extent I wouldn’t say people play God of War only for the violence. It’s pretty much everything including story, voice acting, background score, visuals etc.
He also feels the upcoming PoP game should reclaim that audience back, something I highly doubt. Either way we’ll get to know how things play out when Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands releases on the Xbox360, PS3, PC and Wii this May.
