A few days back, we told you about internet attacks becoming more destructive. That same day, thirty five government websites of Pakistan were attacked. On Saturday, Reuters reported that a group called the "Pakistani Cyber Army" attacked India's Central Bureau of Investigation website. Unlike the "35 government sites" that the Indian hackers struck, this group aimed just once but aimed big.
The site has been down since Friday and after repeatedly checking it since 6:45 PM today, there seems to be no change. All you'll get is an error message - The server at cbi.nic.in is taking too long to respond. The same report also mentioned that the group has threatened to defame more sites and haven’t yet cited any reasons why they've chosen to attack an administration website like this. Could it be a retaliatory action to what the Indian Cyber Army did to their websites? We don't know yet.
Reuters also said that the CBI has registered a complaint regarding the case after having noticed that
