Oppo launches R11 Plus with 4,000 mAh battery, 6-inch AMOLED display, and dual camera setup

Oppo has officially revealed the specs of the R11 Plus after the preview of the R11 and R11 Plus on June 5. According to a report by GSMArena, the specs for the R11 Plus turned out to be similar to that of the R11. The Oppo R11 Plus features a 6-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution. It packs a large 4,000 mAh battery which supports VOOC Flash charging. On the other hand, the Oppo R11 packs a 5-inch display along with a 3500 mAh battery.

The smartphone features a metal unibody design where Oppo has done a good job to hide the antenna lines. The R11 Plus features a dual camera with a 16 MP sensor and a f/1.7 aperture along with a 20 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. The interesting thing to note here is that the telephoto lens is powered by the Qualcomm Spectra Image Sensor Processor.The 16 MP rear camera on the Oppo R11 Plus comes with Sony IMX398 sensor while the other one uses IMX350 sensors.

With the help of Qualcomm ISP, these two cameras offer bokeh and portrait modes for the users. Both the cameras on the smartphone also shoot 4K videos where the rear camera can shoot the video using both the wide angle and the telephoto lens. The handset is 7.8mm thick and weighs up to 188gm. The price and processing specs are yet to be announced by Oppo.

Just to recap, the R11 features include a 5.5-inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and a pixel density of 401 PPI. The processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM and internal storage is 64 GB. The smartphone will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with Color OS on top. the camera is the same as that of the R11 Plus.

The smartphone will be offered in three colors, Gold, Rose Gold and Black and the smartphone will have a thickness of 7.6 mm. The pricing of the R11 has not be revealed but should be unveiled on the launch date.
