Oppo F3 Diwali Limted Edition launched at a price of Rs 18,990; to be available on Amazon and other outlets starting 29 September

As phone makers approach the festival season with attractive offers, **Oppo** has decided to take a slightly different approach. The company announced the launch of the Oppo F3 Diwali Limited Edition smartphone which will be made available on Amazon and Oppo’s offline retail outlets starting 29 September. Buyers of the F3 Diwali Edition will receive exclusive Cricket bats signed by the Indian Cricket team on every purchase of the limited edition smartphone. Oppo had also last month **launched** a Deepika Padukone Edition of the F3, priced at Rs 19,990. The Oppo F3 features a 5.5-inch FullHD display with 16 MP and 8 MP front facing dual cameras and a 13 MP camera sensor on the rear side of the phone. The device comes with 64 GB of internal storage, 4 GB RAM and runs on a 3,200 mAh battery. Inside, the F3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T Processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The device comes with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Storage on the phone can be extended up to 256 GB through an external microSD card. In terms of connectivity, it gets dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS with A-GPS and a microUSB v2.0 port with USB OTG support. We had **reviewed the Oppo F3** earlier this year. We had observed, “The Oppo F3 price places it in the mid-range for smartphones. This smartphone may not be for everyone given the MediaTek processor and average back camera. But the device performs and shines on the features that it focusing on. You get a well-crafted metal body with some plastic bits, a quick fingerprint reader, decent software and class-leading selfie camera in a slim package.”
