Olympus to conduct free photography workshops at Mumbai Photo Fair 2012

As the Photo Fair 2012 flags off today in Mumbai, Olympus has announced that they will be conducting free photography workshops for amateurs, hobbyists and photography enthusiasts. The Photo Fair will run until January 8. Needless to say, the company will be displaying their entire range of new generation camera systems, newer technologies and accessories. They will also showcase the beginner and consumer series of binoculars with compass and range finder that are nitrogen purged, waterproof, dirtproof and fogproof, and also Data Voice Recorders (DVRs).

Parag Shinde will conduct six sessions on Wedding Photography on January 5 and 7, Balan Madhavan, a member of the Royal Photographic Society, England and ILCP Fellow will host three sessions on Wild Life photography on January 6. Nitin Satghare, fashion and still photographer, will conduct an exclusive session on PEN Technology and Olympus Creative light system (Flash RC Mode) on January 8. The first session of the day begins at 10:30 am, followed by the second at 1:30 pm and then the third at 4:00 pm. Each session is expected to last for about 90 minutes.

Users can also look forward to some special discounts on select Olympus products. They can take home a combo gift of Rs. 2,499 with the flagship PEN E-P3, E-PL3, E-PM1, and other models, and a gift worth Rs.1,499 is bundled with VG series.
