Nova Launcher is one of the most popular alternatives to the stock launchers like Google Now Launcher or the launchers bundled with smartphones. It brings powerful customisation features to change almost every aspect of the launcher. Also, the built-in templates can turn it into an almost stock-like experience. The developer has integrated the changes that come with successive Android version as well as Google Now Launcher updates.

In the latest beta update, the developer has added Pixel launcher style options to Nova Launcher. All the new features including landscape mode support, swipe up to bring the app drawer, and the subtle fade effect is present.

The style has been changed to include Pixel Launcher search bar with integrated search bar into the app drawer as reported by Android Police. There are some Android Nougat 7.0 based optimisations and fixes. Also, the developer has added new features including the new Timeout screen lock method, double-tap-swipe gestures and the new search view.
