According to Gameinformer, EA at an investor meeting recently announced sequels to Dead Space and Need for Speed among other games. A new Need for Speed game should come as no surprise to anyone since that has become another one of EA’s annual franchises. However, we will be pleasantly surprised if this year’s NFS is actually fun to play, considering the franchise’s track record over the past few years hasn’t been stellar (barring Criterion’s Hot Pursuit of course).
Who will helm this year's NFS?
Nothing is known about the new Dead Space game although there are rumours that it could take place on an ice planet as opposed to a ship. If true, this could seem like an ode to John Carpenter’s cult classic, The Thing, which would be totally awesome. Oh and we do hope the rumours of this game being a first person shooter are not true.
Either way, we should know more about both these games at this year’s E3.
