New Android Native Music Player?

A new native music app was showcased at Google’s I/O conference back in May, but it didn’t show up with the Gingerbread update released this month. Instead, it is now expected to release as a part of Honeycomb, which has promised Android users an Interface makeover.

Hopefully it'll make these phones sound better

A member over at the xda-developers forum managed to get his hands on the app and posted a video of it functioning. While it does look pretty promising with album stacking and the like, it shows very little apart from the interface. So there’s no way to tell if it now has customizable EQ settings, or the various little improvements the Android userbase is waiting for.
