MyPad update brings Instagram access along with Facebook and Twitter

Most social network aggregating apps, like TweetDeck allow you to interact with Facebook and Twitter and maybe a few other social networks. However, MyPad has done something interesting; they've updated to include Instagram in their iOS application. According to TechCrunch, the app has three million daily users and now, all these users are able to browse through their Instagram feeds as well as interact with photos. along with their Facebook and Twitter accounts from the MyPad app. The application lets you browse through not only your own network's Instagram feed, but also the Popular section of Instagram, Furthermore, you can edit, add filters and batch upload photos to Facebook. You can also access your Twitter Direct Messages and see trending topics on the microblogging network.

MyPad was originally the replacement for a native Facebook iPad app, that is, before the native Facebook for iPad app released. The update for the MyPad iPad app also includes support for the New iPad's Retina Display. Furthermore, the update supports Airplay mirroring, so you can view all the photos from your social network streams on your TV with special Ken Burns effects added in. MyPad also has a section where it recommends other applications for you to download. The information that the app collects from you is used to personalize your application selections. The service has about 10 million registered users and sharing content on the network has gone up 10 times in the last few day,s since the update's been out.

The application can seem a bit crowded, as it crams many features into one place. While the convenience of having Facebook, Twitter and Instagram access in one place might be tempting, it also means that you're dealing with potential information overload. First of all, sigining up for all three social networks in one place, which is harmless, can seem daunting. However, the app does provide convenience and adding Instagram to its services makes sense. The application is currently only available for iOS devices. There is a paid version for the iPhone, which costs $0.99 (approximately Rs. 54.86).There is also an iPad version, which also costs $0.99 and a free version for the iPad. All three versions of the application are available from the iOS App Store.
