Lenovo will be announcing new Moto smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company has already sent out invites confirming their presence and we are quite positive that it will be the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus.
The new Moto G5 has been leaked a bunch of times in the past and we have a fairly good idea as to how the smartphone would look like. However, if you still are not convinced, a couple of press renders and some promotional material of the upcoming devices have leaked.
We can see that the new generation of the Moto G will finally get some metal treatment. It will also get a new round camera assembly like the one seen on the Moto Z range, but more flushed with the body. There is also some Lenovo branding on the edge of the smartphone.
According to rumours, the Moto G5 could feature a 5-inch Full-HD display, a 13 MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a fingerprint scanner, a 2,800 mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. As for the Moto G5 Plus, it will get a larger 5.2-inch Full-HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, 64GB storage, 3,000mAh battery, a 12MP primary camera, 5MP front camera and rest being similar to the G5.
