Mozilla Firefox 5 Leaked

The popular web browser from Mozilla, Firefox 4 was just released a few months back. We had already covered the fact that Mozilla would speed up the version numbers and Firefox 5 would be out around June. Firefox 5 is now complete and very close to release. The official launch date has been set to the 21st of June, 2011, but the final build appears to have been uploaded on Mozilla’s FTP server.

Firefox 5 doesn't bring a lot to the table

Firefox 5 doesn't bring a lot to the table

Firefox 4 brought along a whole bunch of changes including ones to the user interface. A more optimized Javascript engine was put in place and a plethora of features were added that included hardware acceleration, HTML5 WebM support. Firefox 5 in comparison, doesn’t have as many changes. It has a ton of bug fixes and performance tweaks though. There’s support for CSS animations and a feature that stops sites from tracking you. A mobile version of Firefox 5 is also expected soon. Firefox 6 and 7 are slated to be out before the end of the year, as well. If you’re impatient like we are, head over to the Mozilla FTP and download Firefox 5 now.
