Very few tablets in the market can claim to possess abilities like the iPad 2; two of these are in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Motorola Xoom. As with most good technology, a company usually builds up on their existing line-up and ups the specs. Motorola seem to have done just that and from the leaked images, the next tablet from the company that has been recently taken over by Google appears to be the Xoom 2.
The next Xoom?
According to a report by Droidlife, the upcoming tablet is similar in weight to the original Xoom and also sports an HDMI port, micro USB port and a SIM card slot for LTE. The tablet appears to have a 10.1-inch display and the most interesting aspect of this tablet is that it is just 9mm thick. Other specifications leaked of the tablet are that it features a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB ofRAM and an HD camera on the rear having the ability to record videos at 1080p. The battery is supposedly really good and has the ability to last 11 hours during HD recording. Apart from these features, there are physical buttons on the rear that are flush against the body.
Large buttons on the back
As of now these are just rumoured specifications and may change come announcement time. We will surely keep you up to speed if any additional information surfaces.
