Motorola has started sending out invites in Europe for press event to be held in London. The company is all set to make a big announcement on January 14 and there’s lot of speculation over what the device could possibly be.
As the company writes, “addition to the European Motorola family of products”, we can’t think of anything but a variant of the Moto X. We could rule out the possibility of the Moto G, considering it has already been launched for the global market and will start hitting stores this month onwards, including in India. Another clue at the possibly Moto X launch came last week when the company slashed its price to $399, hinting at possible international launch. With the launch less than week away, we’ll soon find out what the device could be.
The less blinding colour options of the Moto X
The Moto X sports a Nexus 4-like 4.7-inch 720p touchscreen but its AMOLED display is said to bring better power savings and enables some software features, exclusive to the phone. With the recent price drop, the Moto X has become a very attractive proposition and has more than enough power for a mid-range phone.
The company had recently confirmed that it will be launching the Moto G in the Indian market. However, reports now claim that the launch has been pushed to the end of the month. While we won't know for sure, with the Moto X expected to come to markets outside the US, we could possibly see a Moto X launch in India as well.
