Motorola is planning to launch a new product in the coming days. The interesting thing to note here is that this new product is not a smartphone or a new Moto Mod. Instead, the company is planning to launch a new 'Dash Cam' for the market.

According to a report by Motorola Fans, the company is known for home products, mobile accessories, public-safety products. The company is planning to move towards automobile accessories and this product is not its first attempt to enter this market.

Earlier the company had launched Dash Cam, with model number MDC100 with a small 2.8-inch screen and a 2 MP camera sensor. The company is launching the second product after the success of the first product in the market. The new dash camera will be able to shoot 1080p FHD videos along with motion detection. It will also with a 4-inch screen with an effective resolution of 480x854. The company has priced this new dash camera at $99.

The company has also packed a microSD card slot to extend storage for users. It can also help users in parking their cars with the help of the sensors in the camera. According to the details in the report, this new camera will be launched in Europe shortly. The company will launch the product in the United States after the Europe launch. Motorola has not confirmed the launch of this device officially.

One thing to note here is that this device is not being launched by Lenovo-owned Motorola. Instead, the device is being made by ‘Motorola Accessories’, a division that functions under the British company Binatone. This division is responsible for other ‘Motorola’ branded home products. Motorola Mobility sold this division to the Binatone in 2015.
