Bigflix has partnered with Micromax to offer exclusive HD movies on their upcoming ICS tablet, the Funbook. Those owning a Micromax Funbook will be able to stream HD movies, completely free of charge for a month. Users can login through the app and stream any movie from a library of 1000 movies. After the initial free period is over, users will have to pay a subscription fee of Rs.249 per month, in order to continue streaming. Bigflix is part of Reliance BIG Entertainment group and is one of the largest video-on-demand services available in India. With 4G all set to launch sometime this month, services like Bigflix will only grow in popularity. The service allows you to watch the movie you want, when you want and since it’s all up in the cloud, you don’t have to worry about storage space on your device as well.

Micromax has partnered with leading players to provide education and entertainment content on the tablet as well. It’s a 7 inched slate and runs on a 1.2 GHz processor, with 512 MB of RAM.
