The song, although incomplete, had already been leaked in 2008, but Akon recently finished it up so that it could be heard properly by the world. Apparently, this song was very close to Michael Jackson’s heart, as he had even written a note about how he wanted ‘Hold My Hand’ to be the first single on his new project. Finally, his wish has been duly granted.

Head of Services Marketing, Nokia India, Mr. Jasmeet Gandhi stated, “Michael Jackson’s iconic stature and breathtaking music still captivates million of hearts across all generations. We, at Nokia, are extremely pleased to offer our consumers an opportunity to be the first ones to download his latest single ‘Hold My Hand’ for free from the Ovi Music Store.”

Sony Music will release the music legend’s eagerly awaited album, ‘MICHAEL’ along with the Estate of Michael Jackson on December 14. The album has a number of famed producers on its roster, and contains ten songs.
