Rovio's Bad Piggies has been updated with plenty of new features and 30 new levels. The physics-based Angry Birds spin-off now has 30 new “Flight in the night” levels as well as six new “Road Hogs” time travel levels. In Bad Piggies, you play the game from the point of view of the egg-stealing pigs.
The new Road Hogs level
The angry birds make a special appearance in the Flight in the Night levels, and will attempt to shoot you down if you disturb them. The new Road Hogs levels are the same as the normal Bad Piggies levels, but you need to beat both your friends and the clock. The time-trial levels will need you to assemble your vehicle and finish off the level before the time runs out.
A great new open-ended sandbox stage is also up for grabs if you can master the new Flight by Night levels.
Bad Piggies has you helping the pigs from the original game escape with the birds' eggs. “We’ve never done anything like this,” said Petri Järvilehto, EVP of Games during the launch. “Where Angry Birds was all about destruction, Bad Piggies is all about the joy of construction.”
The game has the pigs constructing contraptions in order to flee with the eggs. They try to create the ultimate flying machine and steer it safely to their destination. The game started off with 60 levels, and an additional 30 were available for those who could manage to get three stars.
The app's first major update added 15 new levels as well as a sandbox level called Field of Dreams. Rovio also tweaked the game's storyline a bit. The company said that the Piggies had finally managed to lay their hands on (even though they don’t really possess any) on the eggs, but the Angry Birds had sworn revenge against them. Field of Dreams was offered as an in-app purchase for $2.99 (Rs 170).
Bad Piggies is available for download on both Android and iOS with updated levels. The game is free for Android and can be downloaded from the Play Store. The app is available for iPhone and iPod Touch as well as iPad for Rs 55.
