Day before yesterday BioWare confirmed multipayer for Mass Effect 3 and while that sent shivers down everyone’s spine, BioWare’s released an official video today to ensure gamers that they have nothing to worry about. There is no versus multiplayer in the game, instead four players can team up to save the Galaxy from Alien scum. Before every round begins, you’ll get to choose your load out from a bunch of weapons and armour types. As you kill enemies, you rack up experience points that can be used to upgrade your abilities all the way till Level 20.
Saving the galaxy is better with friends
It turns out multiplayer will also factor into the campaign to a certain extent as completing multiplayer objectives will allow players to experience a more well rounded ending. It won’t be shoved down your throat so if you chose to completely ignore multiplayer, you’ll still be able to enjoy the whole Mass Effect 3 experience. But enough talk, watch the game’s producer, Casey Hudson give you the lowdown in the video embedded below.
