LYF announces Flame 1 at Rs 6,490 and Wind 6 at Rs 7,090 in India

While we’ve already heard about the Flame 1 and Wind 6 4G-enabled smartphones that fall under Reliance Jio’s LYF brand, the company has now officially announced the pricing and availability details.

LYF announces Flame 1 at Rs 6,490 and Wind 6 at Rs 7,090 in India

While we’ve already heard about the  Flame 1  and  Wind 6  4G-enabled smartphones that fall under Reliance Jio’s LYF brand, the company has now officially announced the pricing and availability details for both. The LYF Flame 1 is priced at Rs 6,490 and the LYF Wind 6 at Rs 7,090. Both devices are currently available across India via more than 1,20,000 retail outlets through a network of over 1200 distributors. LYF Flame 1 The Flame 1 is an entry-level 4G device sporting a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display. It comes equipped with a 5MP rear snapper with flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera. It also supports camera features such as blink detection, smile detection and so on. Under the hood, one can expect a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset clocked at 1.1 GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It also includes GPU Adreno 304 @400MHz. The device runs Android Lollipop 5.1. The device measures 132.6mm x 66.2mm x 9.3mm and weighs 138 grams. There’s 8GB of onboard storage that is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. On the connectivity front, we get 4G LTE bands with a dual SIM setup, support for VoLTE, VoWiFi, GPS and Bluetooth v4.0.  The Flame 1 can be picked in black, white, Dark red and Dark blue. Finally, a 2000mAh battery completes the package. Another differentiating factor is the slightly bigger battery at 2250mAh. It also gets a premium gloss finish. Internals of this 4G device include a 1.1GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor along with Adreno 304 @400MHz and 1GB RAM. It comes with the same 5MP front and rear cameras, dual SIM ability and 8GB onboard storage expandable up to 32GB, as seen in the Flame 1. The Wind 6 runs Android Lollipop 5.1 with connectivity options such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, dual SIM support, GPS and Bluetooth. It comes dipped in black, white and gold colour options.
