Nokia USA has taken to its Facebook page to tease a new smartphone, believed to be the Nokia Lumia 925. The Lumia 925 is widely expected to be introduced later today in London.
With the image, Nokia says the new Lumia will "steel" the show, in one of the worst examples of punning we have seen in a while. What’s more, it’s not even original since the company’s blog already told readers to "Steel yourself for the next installment."
The Nokia Lumia 925 teaser
As can be guessed, the Lumia 925, which has been making the rounds in the rumour mill by the codename Catwalk, will have a steel body or feature heavy accents made of the alloy. This is not the first time the Lumia 925 has leaked ahead of its announcement, but it’s the first we are hearing from the company about this phone. Additionally, there’s some talk that Nokia will use the event to also unveil the Nokia Lumia EOS smartphone, which has been rumoured to take the Nokia PureView brand to the next level. Lumia EOS is said to be the Windows Phone 8-running sibling of the Nokia 808 PureView, which has a 41MP rear camera sensor.
Earlier this week, another forthcoming Nokia Lumia smartphone, the Lumia 625, also leaked, suggesting that Nokia’s next line-up of phones will follow this naming convention. In any case, we won’t have to wait too long to find out what Nokia has in store for its fans.
