LG has had a good week at the recently concluded CES, but the brand does not intend on stopping there with product announcements. At an event, LG took the wraps off their first LTE tablet, the Optimus Pad LTE, which boasts of features, such as a True HD IPS display and LTE capabilities.

Speaking at the launch of the tablet, Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company said, “With tablets generating five times more traffic than the average smartphone, it's not a huge jump to assume that tablet users need and want faster connectivity. The combination of LG's LTE technology with the tablet form factor is a clear advantage for consumers who use a tablet as their primary consumption device when on the move.”
Here is a quick look at the specifications of the Optimus Pad LTE:

- 8MP rear camera for capturing HD video

Apart from this, the Optimus Pad LTE also sports other features, such as Smart Movie Editor for editing images and videos, Web Duet for e-mailing, messaging and SNS sharing as well as On-Screen Phone, which allows compatibility with LG smartphones.
