Lenovo India has launched its ThinkPad Twist – a convertible from its "Think" line that can be used as a tablet or a laptop, at a starting price of Rs 71,000 (all inclusive prices). It also offers quick conversion to a stand or tent mode, where the laptop becomes a media presenter, giving an immersive multimedia experience in the boardroom or a coffee shop.
The Twist comes loaded with Windows 8 for better performance and its processors are premeditated for lower power consumption The ThinkPad Twist is available in mocha black colour. It is just 20 mm thick and weighs in at 1.60 kg.

The ThinkPad Twist comes with a storage capacity of 500GB with HDD performance booster for a more responsive system and increased memory vis-à-vis traditional tablets. It includes a keyboard, UltraNav navigation and multi-touch screen.
The ThinkPad Twist sports a 12.5-inch IPS 350 nit high-definition multi-touch screen with anti-scratch and anti-smudge Gorilla glass. It comes with a wide viewing angle supported by Dolby Home Theatre V4. It also packs in features such as new conference call microphone mode, keystroke noise-suppression technology and easy-to-access microphone along with speaker and camera mute buttons. It comes with a full-size keyboard with TrackPoint and touchpad. Lenovo adds it has 30-days standby
For ThinkPad Twist, Lenovo Solutions for Small Business (LSSB) and Lenovo Solution Centre (LSC) are the value-added software offerings to safeguard the product from wear and tear and software damage. LSSB addresses key aspects of IT maintenance such as software monitoring, after-hour maintenance, energy saving and security enhancements. LSSB also allows small business to easily set up advanced maintenance tasks similar to those used by large enterprises. On the other hand, LSC is a purpose-built Lenovo utility to monitor the health of the system and perform preventative maintenance to ensure high performance for the life of an Ultrabook.

At the recently concluded MWC 2013, Lenovo launched its new Android tablet range. The line-up will be available starting in the second quarter of 2013. The range starts with two new A-series tablets: the A1000 features enhanced audio, while the A3000 offers quad-core processing for performance. Alongside these models, Lenovo also announced a new 10-incher, the S6000, which offers extended I/O options, a large screen and a slim profile.
The S6000 is powered by an MTK 8389/8125 1.2GHz quad-core processor and sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The A3000 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MTK processor. The tablet sports a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The A1000 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The tablet has onboard storage of 16GB, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It comes in either black or white.
