Lenovo finally seems to be launching its Ideaphone K900 smartphone in India. Going by what we can see on TV nowadays, Lenovo India has been broadcasting a new commercial on various channels.
Despite a few false alarms in the past, this one seems like the real deal because the commercial shows the phone pretty prominently through the 30 seconds of run-time. The Ideaphone K900 is the world’s first smartphone to sport the Intel Clover Trail+ dual-core processor. In the commercial, both the K900 and the S820 are being displayed, which leads us to believe that the phone may come out soon.
The Lenovo K900 is now being seen in a TV commercial being broadcast
The K900 created a lot of buzz recently, when the Chinese computer giant announced that it would release the smartphone to time with the recent edition of the IPL. As reported earlier, Panasonic did a pre-release TVC campaign for its P51 recently, with the ads doing the rounds for days before the launch. Looks like Lenovo, which has always been quiet about its launches so far, may be doing the same with the TVC seeming to be part of a build-up advertising campaign.
As reported earlier, the Lenovo K900, which went on sale in China recently, packs a 2GHz Atom Z2580 dual-core processor as well as a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 2. The company rounds off its offering with 2GB of RAM and a13 megapixel rear camera as well as 16GB of internal storage.
The other phone that is featured in the TVC, the Lenovo S820, as reported by androidos, has been positioned for female users. It features a 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS display and a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, a 13MP rear camera as well as a 2MP front camera. The S820 also supports dual-SIM, a 2000 mAh battery and 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. While the official date of launch is not clear, users can expect Lenovo not to leave them hanging for long.
