Remember the dual-camera equipped LeEco smartphone that was leaked last year? We saw the smartphone on a couple of occasions but it never saw the light of day. At that time, it was rumoured with the code-name LEX720 and was said to pack 8GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 821 SoC, the dual-camera setup and so on.
The smartphone was also apparently seen in the hands of Jia Yueting LeEco's CEO himself but again, we never saw the smartphone going official.
According to popular tipster on Weibo @kjuma this smartphone has been code-named the LeEco Le X850 would officially be announced on 11 April. This is the same person who leaked the smartphone in the first place. He further mentions that the handset will arrive in four different color variants; black, white, gold and gray. The Le X850 will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset and have a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). At the back it is expected to get dual 13MP rear cameras and a 16MP selfie shooter on the front.
Other features rumoured are 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants and three storage versions with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. It was initially said to run on Andorid 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI on top but hopefully it will arrive with Android 7.0 Nougat. There will be a 3,900mAh battery and prices are speculated at CNY 1,799 (Rs 19,000 approx.)
