While we’ve already seen plenty of leaks around the upcoming Pixel 2 devices and possibly a Google Home Mini , the latest leaks, detected hours before the launch, seem to confirm a previous leak that Google is also prepping a new Chromebook for the event.

Dubbed the Pixelbook, the new Chromebook is expected to come with laptop-grade hardware running ChromeOS. According to a leaked reseller listing, spotted by 9to5Google , at least three variants of the Pixelbook are expected to be announced. Judging by the listing, all the devices are to sport a 12.3-inch display (resolution unknown), an Intel Core i5 CPU and up to 256 GB of storage.

A previous leak by DroidLife indicated that storage options could go up to 512 GB, which, given the leaked pricing and configuration options, seems more likely. RAM configurations and CPU variants have not been listed. Hopefully, the new devices are running the eight generation Core i5 chips from Intel.

The listing also reveals a mysterious new Google device that appears to be called ‘Google Clips’. Two variants of the expected Google Home Mini in Chalk and Charcoal colours have been listed as well.

DroidLife reports that the 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB variants of the Pixelbook will be priced at $1,199, $1,399 and $1,749 respectively. This puts the new Chromebooks in the same price range as Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro 13 line. Microsoft’s Surface laptop is also similarly priced. A $99 stylus will be available for the Pixelbook as well.

Android Central notes that the Pixelbook’s screen size is a bit smaller than that on the Chromebook Pixel, which featured a 12.85-inch display. It’s possible, however, that the 3:2 aspect ratio and 2,560x1,700 resolution will be carried over.

On a related note, we’ll be running a live blog featuring up-to-the-minute updates on Google’s product event tonight from 9.30 pm. Do tune in for live updates. You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook for live updates on the event.
